Finally… the culminating project of “The Very Worst of JAMES Watts” project is here, and its available for FREE DOWNLOAD. This EP is a collection of older material, replayed and remixed by Frank G/ ISH Productions. Just to clarify even further, James and I took some OG versions of songs and replayed/composed them with all LIVE instruments, and have been releasing them over the last few weeks in video vignette format (Shout to 2DopeBoyz/RunandEatNYC/GoodFellaMedia/OkayPlayer/etc. and all the other blogs for heavily promoting these).

We have taken the full versions of these songs, including 2 NEW Replays and have released them as EP entitled, “When Worse Comes to Worst.” Hope you all enjoy them, and we look forward to showing off some of the fresh concoctions we have been cooking up for the close of this year and into the next. Once again, thank you to everyone who has shown support. Your loyalty is overwhelming.

Here we are again, with this week’s offering of the “Replays” entitled, “Two Minute Warm-Up Pt. 6,” shot in West New York, directed by James Watts.  For this beat, I attempted to capture and re-create some elements off of the original version, produced by the legendary J.Dilla (off of  James’s “12 Minute Mixtape” [EP].) ,and add my own stylings to another very introspective song.  Again, thank you to all of the blogs, bloggers, friends, and family that continue to support.

This past weekend, NJ artist and good friend J.A.M.E.S. Watts (Just Another Man in the Everyday Struggle) along with Frank G began shooting for the “Replays Remix” promotional videos.  The project is a collection of previous JAMES Watts work, re-released as a brand new “Replay.”  New arrangements and composition provided by the ISH Productions.  The “Replays” and their respective videos will be released starting November 1st 2010 to promote the new mixtape entitled, “The Very Worst of James Watts,” and will be hosted by 2DOPEBOYZ.

Below is the first of a 1-a-week video campaign, and features the replay of “Wish You Were Here,” directed by none other than James Watts himself. Additionally below, is the original Frank G/James Watts produced, “Wish You Were Here,” directed by Rik Cordero, as well as a BTS look of the “Replays” video shoot. Special thanks goes out to the crew: DP Jameel Morrison, Zenobia, Lex, Rik Cordero, Nancy Mitchell, Klep-One, Claudio Cabrera, Nick Casertano, and everybody else.

As summer in NJ is finally upon us, the ISH Productions is gearing up for a serious musical onslaught, and can’t wait to show you what we have in store. But before the new music is even out, we thought we might shed some light on some of the artists that are a part of the creative team, and give you a chance to FAMiliarize yourselves with them and their music.

THIS is Talonted

Talonted is one of those artists that you can’t really put in a box.  He’s a witty MC, attorney, business owner, and a visionary with a dope story to tell… not to mention a brand new EP on the way courtesy of Flo Global and Frank G of the ISH Productions.  As we progress through this project, we will be updating all of you from time to time with video of sessions, songs we are working on, and events we are throwing to promote.

In the meanwhile, check out some of Talonted’s previous material, “the PRESENT,” and everything else he is up to, including a new ISH Productions ISHtrumental that Talonted will be laying vocals to on Monday July 12th.

The Cook Out is a weekly feature that involves YOU, our fans.  What ever projects we have in the works, I wanted to share with you in real time this summer, or in as much real time as possible.  Whether it be new instrumentals, songs, album designs, events, etc., I want our fans a part of the creative processes throughout.

This week, I have been making and re-visiting certain instrumentals that i am currently considering for upcoming projects with an array of interesting artists.  Because of the versatility of some of the projects at hand, I have the luxury of opening the dialogue, and hopefully engaging in some interesting creative conversations with you.

The first order of business is this next ISHtrumental… what type of thoughts, concepts, vibes does this beat give you immediately? What artist would you like to hear over this beat, or even, what acapella would you be interested in hearing over this beat?  Whats a good title for it?
