Got the opportunity to see WU perform in Staten island with a bunch of friends. This crew is the embodiment of what a hip hop crew should be. Such a live show, and you know we passed off some new ISHtrumentals to Raekwon!

The Talonted “T” album is now available on iTunes! This original album is something I am very proud of and I hope all of you get a chance to take a listen. Pictures and footage from the Release Party will be posted soon!

Next Tuesday 6.7.11, the ISH Productions and Flo Global will be dropping the “Give Me Some Time” Video, featuring Talonted.  Looking forward to showing off some of the new material featured on Talonted’s upcoming album. And of course, a FREE download of the song will be in order as well.

Pixel Mobb Photo Shoot

Here are some photos my man Chris Perilli took of me on the bridge over the NJ Turnpike. Its a spot we are using in an upcoming project for Pixel Mobb, and decided to take some stills of it as well. More info to come about this project and others.

Toe Tag Ent., the ISH Productions, Pixel Mobb, and Fallout Shelter team up to create the song “Yin vs. Yang” to promote an upcoming collaboration of new music.  This upcoming release is a rare inside look at the creative processes that go into creating meaningful music at the ISH Production’s and Fallout Shelter’s studios in New Jersey and Brooklyn.  In this particular episode, artists Yasin and Haylo, lay down verses to an instrumental created by Frank G and D-Boards, as part of a series of videos soon to be released by Pixel Mobb.  Previous episodes of this particular session and others will be posted in the upcoming weeks, along with information on other collaborative projects.

Yasin of Toe Tag Ent. is a featured artists on today’s “Beyond the Music” radio program, on urbanlatinoradio.com.  Shout to Dreatraxx and Sophia, as well as the rest of the staff at Urban Latino FM.  The song featured is a new track produced by Frank G of the ISH Productions entitled, “Ya Feel Me,” and is officially premiering on Yasin’s upcoming EP with a date soon TBA.

Once again, me and homie James Watts made our rounds to some of the family and friends that support us and our music heavy.  This time it was the Core 90.3, home of the Down Low Hip Hop Show, and the GoodFella Radio Show.  This was my first appearance on the DLHS with No Name and Bone, and I’m pretty sure it may have been my last considering the nearly 10 year run on the air is coming to an end.  Pretty sad stuff, in my opinion, because as I chilled for almost two hours with the dudes that run this show, I saw what has kept them successful for a decade.  They are a bunch of true hip hop heads with an ear for quality and a natural contagious energy.  Damn we need more shows like this.  A hip hop show from people who really grew up around hip hop.

Following the Down Low, we sat in on the 12pm- 2am set of GoodFella Radio Show, and as always, Justin and Q got down to business, and sparked a quality conversation about the state of the industry, the quanification of success, the real definition of “disgruntled,” and how it all pertains to the upcoming music of the ISH Productions and James Watts for 2010.  For audio of the show and the Frank G and Watts interview, check out the GoodFella Radio dot com.  Big shout to my people Rich, Justin, Q, Nyght, and Artie. for all their support.  Go check them at Club Abyss the 27.  Plus, I hear the “Hip Hop Series” Frank G interview is almost upon us!  Looking forward to posting that up asap.

The other night I payed a visit with my man James Watts to Denise and Shaina of the Don Mamas Radio Show in New Brunswick, NJ on 89.5 WRSU.  For those of you who tuned in, you already know how it went down, but for you who may not have…. I’ll recap by saying the girls, as always, held it down.  Its a pleasure when you deal with real people in this industy (a trait I’ve found to be extremely rare).  We played a bunch of joints, spoke on upcoming plans (a possible upcoming reality tv show??), and broke it down both on-air and off-air.  Much respect to the queens of radio for hosting another professional night…. and make sure to show your face at Club Abyss this Black Friday to support a bunch of Jersey radio stations coming together to host a solid party featuring Funk Flex and Jadakiss.

Last night, Platinum celebrated the opening of their second salon in NYC, at the historical Rivington Hotel, with a FIERCE (a term I recently learned is appropriate in the fashion world) fashion show.  Designers Blake Glover & Henry De La Paz showed some new exclusive pieces in their collection to a packed house, and an equally packed runway of models.  Aside from the beautiful clothes, Christine Valentin, head make-up artist at Platinum’s 23rd St. salon, made sure the models shined on the runway.  And to top it off, the ISH Productions provided music for the night.  Special thanks to Peter Diaz (Platinum Owner/Fashion Show Coordinator), Randy, and all the other people that made it happen last night.  Happy 30th to Francesca, and shout to Chloe, Regina, Gary, and everyone else who ate some pizza at the shadiest spot ever.  Looking forward to the next show!
