PLATINUM FASHION SHOW @ the RIVINGTON, NYC
Last night, Platinum celebrated the opening of their second salon in NYC, at the historical Rivington Hotel, with a FIERCE (a term I recently learned is appropriate in the fashion world) fashion show. Designers Blake Glover & Henry De La Paz showed some new exclusive pieces in their collection to a packed house, and an equally packed runway of models. Aside from the beautiful clothes, Christine Valentin, head make-up artist at Platinum’s 23rd St. salon, made sure the models shined on the runway. And to top it off, the ISH Productions provided music for the night. Special thanks to Peter Diaz (Platinum Owner/Fashion Show Coordinator), Randy, and all the other people that made it happen last night. Happy 30th to Francesca, and shout to Chloe, Regina, Gary, and everyone else who ate some pizza at the shadiest spot ever. Looking forward to the next show!

This show was truly a success. I am extremely grateful to those who have been with me along this journey in which I waited for eighteen years. I am also thankful for the newfound crew since the beginning of Platinum. All the artists executed a multi-faceted exhibition displaying the best of hair, makeup and clothing design. The hotel on Rivington truly allowed us to display how strong we truly are from network support, fashion companies and press, including friends and family. The ISH productions also provided the best of three hip-hop hits . Franky G, ISH producer, once again won the crowds over with all new songs. This massive combination of artists, artistic show and music proves that hip-hop will forever be part of our new Couture era! Yours truly, Peter D.
